We take COVID-19 and client health very seriously and have adapted to the current virus situation accordingly. The studio has a brand new top-of-the-line internal HVAC system which includes HEPA and UV filtration. Windows can be opened as well per client request, and we’re happy to accommodate requests to photograph outdoors. Clients meet with the photographer prior to the shoot over FaceTime or Zoom to confer as part of the consultative process, so that we can talk “face-to-face” prior to the shoot itself - for which the photographer is masked throughout. During that time, client and photographer will discuss the goals, objectives, and creative direction of the portrait sitting, and the photographer will also teach her style of visual and verbal direction for posing and lighting so that the client feels comfortable and prepared prior to the photo shoot.

Sharona Jacobs Photography is subject to the rules in place in Massachusetts during COVID-19, and follows the guidance from both government and health organizations. Based upon the scope of the social distancing restrictions in place at the time of the photography services due to COVID-19, certain aspects of the photographer/client interaction may be altered. Clients must agree to abide by social distancing measures (at least 6-10 feet away from others at all times, and to wear a mask when not being photographed), and to assume all risks associated with potential COVID-19 transmission or exposure in relation to the photography services, the location, and/or any styling services chosen. If there is any sign of illness whatsoever prior to the shoot, please reschedule - there are no penalties for rescheduling. The studio asks that you check your temperature prior to the shoot, and will provide a mask if you do not have one. Testing is always appreciated, and the photographer is happy to test as well if the client requests. The client agrees that the photographer has the right to cancel the sitting at any time if these guidelines are not being followed and will keep the client's deposit. All parties involved must agree to not knowingly participate in the photography sitting while having an active COVID-19 infection or other contagious illness.
